Custom Grip Sets are a staple of my daily work and I pride myself on making truly bespoke sets. Multiple configuration options are available, to give you an idea of what’s on offer, here is a list of customisations I often carry out:
- Individually pointed ground Stippling with hand cut boarders on the grip or fore end.
- Custom made to measure Fore End/Hamster posts in either aluminium or delrin.
- Option to incorporate a self-supplied multi adjust unit for the Fore End/Hamster.

- Featureless or Faceted for ISSF Compliant grips.

Although the majority of my Custom Grip Set work is for Field Target and Hunter Field Target work, some of the strictest work I take on is for the 10m disciplines. Not only is 10m shooting an incredibly precise sport where fractions of a millimetre can make a huge difference, but the ISSF rules and regulations dictate a lot of what is possible when it comes to the shaping of contact patches on the rifle.
This two piece set for the LG100 was for a dedicated 10m build, and along with the woodwork in a vibrant Orange/Silver/Black laminate blend, also uses one of my Steyr Grip Angle Plate Kits, and a universal ball joint adapter for the cheek piece which is of my own design, and now available in aluminium. The cheek itself is a reversible unit, features two different angles to the comb allowing the shooter even more control over this critical contact point. All my Grip Sets feature a grip sized to the new owner, through a combination of measurements, proven geometry, and where appropriate a fitting session.

Having a bespoke custom made rip set allows you to get the best fit possible from your chassis system Air Rifle, and in some cases can offer much more flexibility and adjustment than a factory offering. The ability to choose the construction materials gives you the freedom to choose the look and feel of the finished item, creating your dream final Grip Set that fits you like it should.
This depends on the complexity of work taking place. For Steyr actions and Feinwerkbau 800x, I can work from a distance if using certain hardware or upgrading to my own fixings. For more complex work or more uncommon rifles,I may require hardware or full rifles to be left with me to ensure the correct fit.
Although wait times and order queues may vary based on demand, typically once a project starts it takes 8 weeks until completion.
