Whilst I don’t normally cater to pistols with 2 piece grips, the Feinwerkbau 100, 102, and 103 mk1 have a construction that allows the machining of a new bracket, turning them into a one-piece grip. A welcome upgrade for a fantastic range of Air Pistols. Thankfully, the more modern Feinwerkbau offerings such as the P44, P56, P58, and C55p all feature one-piece grips, and the very contemporary P85 and P8x models follow suit, meaning supporting these pistols is a breeze.
Much like the other top end match pistols, Feinwerkbau’s offerings are excellently engineered, and really benefit from having a bespoke Feinwerkbau Custom Match Grip made to fit you. The blend of traditional techniques and perfect fit bring the best out of the match winning actions, and allow you to perform your best. While polymer grips may be offering more and more advanced shapes, you still can’t compete with a made to measure item. Having a bespoke grip made to measure for your Feinwerkbau Air Pistol can add more flexibility in an appropriate adjustment range for your hand size. This compliments a tailored fit and finish, allowing you to get the most from your pistol. Most pistol grips are compromised from the factory, never intended to fit as well as a shooter demands and certainly not designed to fit everyone, despite size brackets often being available. A custom Feinwerkbau Match Pistol Grip offers a huge improvement over the fit of a factory item and the freedom to chose your own style and options.
Currently I require pistols leaving with me for all custom match grip work, although in the future I am hopeful that will not be the case for more popular Air Pistols such as select Steyr and Feinwerkbau models.
