Each set is made by hand in the UK and shaped to your hand, your shooting style, and your equipment. I build grip sets for Steyr LP and LG models using quality hardwoods or laminates, with careful ergonomic shaping and a clean, functional finish. The aim is simple: better control, stability, and consistency in both training and competition.

- Individually pointed ground Stippling with hand cut boarders on the grip or fore end.
- Custom made to measure Fore End/Hamster posts in either aluminium or delrin.
- Option to incorporate a self-supplied multi adjust unit for the Fore End/Hamster.
- Multiple options for Grip profile.
- Featureless or Faceted for ISSF and Olympic Compliant grips.
- Curved or Precise Fit Finger grooves (fitting required).
- Multiple options for cheek profile, length, and shape.
- Option to add an adjustable palm support to the Grip.

Steyr Custom Grip Sets: Build Spotlight – Steyr LG110
The Steyr LG100/110/Challenge platform has proved itself incredibly adaptable across almost all disciplines, and regularly can be seen topping the scoreboards in Hunter Field Target, Field Target, Bench Rest, and 10m Air Rifle. Such a capable action with such a wide range of available adjustment deserves a bespoke Grip-Set that allows you to squeeze the last drops of performance out of your rifle.
This Custom Steyr Grip Set in the ever popular Zebrano has already seen success, bagging its owner a few trophies in both FT and HFT guises. The set is actually a 4 piece set, and features an extra matching Hamster that is fixed on posts as opposed to the multi-adjust Rowan Engineering unit shown in the photo, for HFT application. I can accommodate most forms of Hamster and Cheek Piece attachment, as there is no one system that suits everyone. As with all my Custom Steyr Grip sets, the grip is meticulously fitted to the new owners hand using precise measurements and where appropriate a fitting session.

Having a bespoke grip set made for the Steyr LG100/LG110/Challenge can add more flexibility in the adjustment range along with a tailored fit and finish, allowing you to get the most from your rifle. Most Grip sets are basic from the factory, not intending to fit as well as a shooter demands, and certainly not designed to fit all. A Custom Steyr Grip Set offers a massive improvement over the fit of a factory item and the freedom to chose your own style, hardware, and options.
This depends on the complexity of work taking place. For Steyr actions and Feinwerkbau 800x, I can work from a distance if using certain hardware or upgrading to my own fixings. For more complex work or more uncommon rifles,I may require hardware or full rifles to be left with me to ensure the correct fit.
Although wait times and order queues may vary based on demand, typically once a project starts it takes 8 weeks until completion.
